Safety Inspections

Filed under: Uncategorized.Each year we invite our insurance company to do a walk through of the event just to make sure its a safe event for all ages, all people, short or tall, thick, or thin. We put a lot of work into our set for the haunt to be scary, and safe. There are usually a few things we overlook which is why we bring in the professionals. These folks at ING really take a different approach to the walk through. They put it under the magnifying glass. looking for stumble points, obtrusive materials ,sharp objects, loose props etc. This can be a bit scary for us as the you never know what another set of qualified eyes will pick up on. Happy to say we only had a small amount of minor deficiencies to rework. The list seems to get smaller each year. Which is a great compliment to the build crew and set designers at Potters House of Horrors Surrey!
