This is my first blog entry this year as I have very busy placing, tuning and tweeking the animatronics for this years haunt. After pulling them from storage and unpacking, I found alot of “wear N tear” from previous years. Every year these goodies cycle approx. 20,000 times. Our pair of rabid wolves Tom and Jerry both required extensive repair. One had a broken neck and the other had extensive spring damage. After weldings some parts, redesigning the launch mechanaism the sergery is complete and they are up and ready to freak you out for another year. The Pumkin King also had a broken neck but he is fixed and ready to “Rip your Guts Out” again! A new sound track has been recorded and programming his motions are next. Just about evey one of our animatronics have required some type of repair. It’s alot of work but very enjoyable all the same. As soon as the doors fly open and our patrons work thier way through our labrynth and come out screaming for thier lives (usually yelling “OMG that was INSANE”, “That was SOOO scary!”) I feel gratitude for all the hard work. Many long days n nights left but they disapear fast. I look forward to scaring you there!
